Do Something 4 Health (DS4H) is for people who struggle to make healthy lifestyle changes that last. Do one of these statements describe you?

  1. You want to be healthier but have a hard time getting started. 
  2. You suffer from information overload and don’t know where to begin
  3. You have tried to make healthy changes but couldn’t maintain them.

If so, this blog may  help you develop healthy  changes that last the rest of your life.  DS4H isn’t about getting ripped abs, bulging biceps, or a bikini body.  If you are highly motivated, disciplined, and love going to the gym, you may not find some of what I share very useful.  It’s about taking a series of small steps, until they become habits, to improve your health. 

The site is divided into four major categories:

  1. Do Something!- How to set priorities, find motivation, and develop ways to start and stick with a plan
  2. Nutrition- We’ll look at different diets, what dietary changes have the biggest impact on your health, and tips to help you exchange bad food for good.
  3. Exercise for people who hate to exercise or have a hard time sticking with an exercise program
  4. Supplements- How to tell the difference between the real deal and snake oil and what the science says about how much you should take

We’ll also cover other hot-button health topics to sort out the best information science can provide.
